Nanny was taken at Christmas 1995 - a recent diagnosis, gone in a matter of days. It was heartbreaking. We never got to say a proper goodbye & many times I wish I’d told her how much I loved her. I miss you my OAP - “old aged pencil-sharpener “. You had lovely squishy arms to squeeze. You didn’t like that - but I loved it! I think of you often & miss you a lot. You have four great children I desperately wish you’d met. I’ll go put some flower on your grave - as I promised I would x

I so miss your presence beside me everyday. Loosing our son Andrew and then you within days/weeks of each other crumbled my world. This has truly broken my heart. There is no place to heal, the pain never goes away. Each day is a struggle. I put on a brave face - keep myself incredibly 'busy' - its how I 'cope' without out you both . I know you 'gave up' when Andrew died- our pain was immeasurable. Our lovely caring son James feels the same as me. This is such a sad time of year. Love you .
